"Some good starter homes on Victorian Drive"
I lived just off of Victorian Drive when I was much younger. There are mostly townhomes here and a lot of single people and younger families. The condos were nice then, and from what I can tell by driving by occasionally when I'm in Parker, they are still in pretty good shape. Victorian Drive circles and connects to Mainstreet which has become a hotbed of local activity. There are some newer buildings here with various businesses and restaurants. On the western side of the road is the O'Brien Memorial Park which is a nice large park with a great playground for kids, a gazebo, a baseball field, and a small water park. It's quite an improvement over the old O'Brien pool it replaced which was just a normal pool with two diving boards many years ago.
Traffic here is generally okay, unless it's a farmer's market Sunday. They shut down Mainstreet so people can walk to the farmers market and there is also a lot of foot traffic in general, so it's best to drive slow in this part of town. I think this would be a great place to live for those who like to have restaurants and parks within walking distance. There is even a Safeway just across Parker Road which is within walking distance, as is the library.
