"29th STreet in Queens by 36th Avenue"
29th Street in Long Island City Queens is a nice street. There’s not really any retail (or even good grocery stores). The best stores and restaurants are located on Broadway which is a good 10 minute walk or 1 subway stop away. It’s annoying but the shops on Broadway are really great. The closest grocery store on 36th Avenue is very small and doesn’t have much but there’s a great grocery store and a health food store on Broadway.

29th St
"On 29th Street"
This street in Brooklyn has some small businesses and something a little special... and frightening, being the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Don’t let that scare you away from the neighborhood. The look and feel of the street was average, and with a lot of residential housing, it was mainly a family oriented street. This section of Brooklyn isn’t the most exciting, and the nearby Brooklyn Queens Expressway makes the street a little less than pretty. It’s also near the Greenwood Cemetery, which isn’t a highlight for me. Others may really like this area, but I wasn’t really all that impressed.
