"Great place to live if you don't mind being away from the train"
43rd Street is a great residental street if you don't mind being away from the public transportation. The houses are cute but there's not much street parking unless you go all the way down towards Ditmars. 43rd Street and 30th Ave where I lived had a lot of dog doo on the street which was annoying while walking. Otherwise it was close enough to 30th Avenue to have some great restaurants available.

"On 43rd Street"
Another street in this Brooklyn neighborhood, and it’s pretty much the same as the streets nearby. With small businesses and some limited housing options, this average street doesn’t have much to offer in the way of food or fun. If you’re considering this neighborhood for a move to New York City, it is close to the metros and there are many buses, providing a pulse to midtown Manhattan. Overall, this neighborhood is nice and fairly convenient, and should be considered on your move to Brooklyn.
