"Not far from stores"
Village Lane in Daly City, CA is a street that stretches about three blocks long, winding from Washington Street and stretching over to Sullivan Avenue. Village Lane showcases some gorgeous one to two story houses (some a little more than that as well), it's also a great neighborhood to be situated in as there are stores (various kinds) not too far away in the area (you just need to exit out on Sullivan or Washington at either end and take it South one block to 87th Street and wala).

"Ice Cream trucks rule this street"
87th Street is a stretch of houses spread over a very residential neighborhood. The street is very well rigged up with wires and towers which provide for great wireless and cellular service. Every time I drive down this street or ride my bike down through 87th I see at least two ice cream trucks blasting their tunes being chased by children after those sweet treats. It often brings me back to my childhood. There are a couple of neighborhood watch signs up which ensures the safety of the children and probably gives parents a piece of mind.

"Busy Street with lots of Construction"
My dad has his own contracting company. He is currently building some condos on the corner of Annie and Washington. I have been helping him for the summer doing manual labor so I am coming to know Washington Street pretty well. The street itself is fairly quiet but you can definitely tell that it is a typical California style house. The bungalows all the look the same with mismatched tiles. This street actually has yards unlike so many streets in Daly City. When I say yards I don't mean a pocket of grass I mean yards that are both in the front and back. There is plenty of construction going on at the moment. Lot's of houses are springing up and my dad was talking about some of the people that live on the street making complaints. During the day traffic is pretty probably with commuters on their way to 280.
