This could be a reasonable spot for some low-priced housing - on the positive side it is very diverse and closer to Memorial it is actually quite nice. As you head north and pass highway 290 the area is more low income, with plenty of shops and food options, including Soul Food, Cajun, and others. The street is not without its charm in some sections - with nice houses and Scarbarough High School, for instance - other areas I would probably not choose to live in but may be great for others.
