"Chaotic City Living"
Post Oak is a great area for those who like the chaos of city life. The Galleria is a feature shopping mall of Houston. There are plenty of places to shop and eat, as well as nightlife located on the nearby street of Westheimer. Canyon Cafe is a really neat restaurant in the area. I would recommend visitors spend a whole day in this area because there is so much to see and do!

"If you want hype, come get it"
This street is just a bunch of hype. It is a typical area for people with a lot of money who don't care much for identity when it is much easier to just look to the next man to see what things should be. It is rather boring and once you've spent your money on that one of a kind 4 figure shirt that everyone else is wearing, insert irony, then you can go and have a hamburger like McDonald's serves for one dollar, but instead you can pay about 8 just to say you can. If you love the american motto of 'because I can' even if it makes not a whole lot of sense, you will love it here.

"Home to Ritzy Shopping and Ritzy Living!"
Post Oak Boulevard is a long street that connects the more workaday parts of Houston (see Westheimer) to the ritzier suburbs, and then exits out in the cheaper landscape of the south. Right smack in the middle, under a giant circular roadsign marking the intersection, is Post Oak Blvd and the Galleria, Houston's biggest and fanciest shopping mall.
The Galleria is where all the big label shops are in Houston, plus the expensive and luxurious smaller stores. There are not one, but two Godiva Chocolate shops in this mall, but all my crazy boyfriend cared about was the shiny Apple store here (he is a geek but I love him anyway.)
