"West 166th Street"

This street is very close to the hospital if you’re sick, and also offers a bit more than other streets in terms of food options. Similar to other streets in this area, this is mainly residential. Typically, the restaurants and shopping run on the Avenues, while the streets are reserved for housing and leisure. All in all, this is a nice street in a low key neighborhood.

"West 164th Street"

This street was nice and fairly clean, and the buildings were very large. There were even some authentic brownstones, which could be a good place if you’re into renovation or flipping. Similar to other streets in this area, this is mainly residential. Typically, the restaurants and shopping runs on the Avenues, while the streets are reserved for housing and leisure.

"About As Noisy As Anything Else"

This street is houses the George Washington Bus station and is situated in the heart of Washington Heights. This street is loud, dirty, and not very attractive. There are a few fast food restaurant on the corner (Subway, Papa John’s), a dentist’s office, and some stragglers. The one perk of this block is that it has a beautiful view of the bridge itself, which is within walking distance. This is truly a residential neighborhood and there is nothing in the way of entertainment or fine dining. The people are friendly for the most part and there are a lot of families, but the noise from the bridge and the buses is too much to bare at times.
