"Classic"
As a lifelong baseball fan, the area surrounding Turner Field has everything I need. I didn't have the chance to take in a game, but the Braves Museum and Hall of Fame offers up a diverse selection of local sports memorabilia and exhibitions. I enjoyed just walking around and taking everything in, getting lost in the classic vibe of baseball history.

"The Olympic Torch!"
Hank Aaron Drive is the street that parallels Turner Field (the Atlanta Braves' beautiful newish stadium). The street itself is fairly plain, but functional. The stadium is beautiful and is a great place to spend a summer evening watching a ball game. Do not forget to view the Olympic Torch which is located right on this street, however. It is an interesting bit of history. One word of caution: on game nights the traffic is bad and the police often shift around which streets are accessible. I recommend either taking MARTA or getting there early!

"A Sports Fan's paradise"
If you love sports you simply have to come to this street. This is not only where Ted Turner's Atlanta Braves call home but this whole street is basically a sports lover's paradise. Even when there isn't a game happening at the stadium you always feel the buzz of the Braves fanatics that are regulars to this street.
Anything you could ever want to know about the Braves can be found on this street, but I recommend that if you intend to visit Atlanta with anyone who isn't a diehard sports fan that you leave them back at the hotel or let them go do their own thing. This street for a sports fan is like a woman in a shoe store, and one could easily spend several hours here and still not have gotten enough.

"Turner Field the Home to Sports and More"
Turner Field in Alanta is home to the Atlanta Braves. Atlanta has done the sports stadium thing right. On a strech of Hank Aaron Drive from Georgia Ave. to Fulton St. you'll find a real palace dedicated to all that is sports. At the Fulton St. end you'll find the olympic torch from the 1996 olympics. Heading further south you'll dicover that Turner Field is no normal baseball stadium. It has resturnats, museums and shops. Last but not least they also play baseball there. Take in a game and much more at Turner Field.
