Carroll Canyon Rd, Mira Mesa

Carroll Canyon Road is the street that crosses with Black Mountain on the west, and provides entrances to highways such as I-15 N and I-15 S on the east.

The street is generally very safe with a quite resident area. It has many apartment complexes such as Maya Linda Apartments, Maya Linda Luxury Condominiums, Maya Apartments. Besides the apartments, the street has many houses that seem to be owned by middle-class people.

The residents are largely comprised of white people with occasional Asian, Hispanic and black Americans. The residents in the are very friendly and extremely quiete even though the apartment complexes are usually full of students-tenants as the area is close to colleges. Speaking of colleges, one of the biggest universities in San Diego (it's actually one of the known universities in CA), Alliant International University or former United States International University is just a mile away from Carroll Canyon Rd. On the north side of the street, in less than a half mile distance, there is Miramar College which is a community college. Therefore, this location is ideal for those students who go to the above-mentioned university or college.

The rent on the street is reasonable for San Diego. One bedroom apartment ranges from USD 950.00--USD1050.00. The apartment complexes usually have swimming pool and hot tub area outside. the street is extremely clean. perhaps one of the pluses for Carroll Canyon is its clean and safe neighborhood. There are many gorgeous plants and various ever-green trees which decor the street all four seasons (honestly, i do not know their particular names).

The nearest and biiggest shopping center is the Mira Mesa Shopping Place. You will find various groccery stores such as Albertson's (it's huge!!!), Seafood, Long's Drugsrore, Ralph's and many other typical California stores. there are of course, Starbucks - three branches of them in the very same shopping place! And you will find Edward's Cinema which offers IMax. Apart from grocery stores, there are many great places to eat inlcuding AppleBee, Pizza Depot, Pick Up Stix, Greek Cafe, Panera Braed Cafe, and Borderland. To shop, you will find an Old Navy Store, Ross, and others.And all these places are within a reach from Carroll Canyon Road. I would say the shopping place is in less than a mile distance from the street.

Highly recommend the street if you're a student at nearby colleges!
