Evergreen Point Floating Brg
"Floating on Top of Water"
When I am driving down Evergreen Point Bridge I feel like I am floating on water. I am fascinated by bridges that serve as roads and Seattle has quite a few of them. Evergreen is the second longest floating bridge in the state. Evergreen Point is busy with both scenic lovers and commuters alike. As you are driving you can catch people in kayaks below. The road is free of potholes but the bridge must be closed during storms and strong winds. Current small renovations are going on constantly and soon the bridge is going to be cutting a total overhaul. Traffic will be redirected probably towards the Lake Washington Bridge.
