"Safe and Friendly San Francisco Living"
The Glen Park area of San Francisco brings the best and worst of both worlds - it is safe, friendly, residential - and about as exciting as some of the nearby suburbs. Adjacent to 280, it is almost as easy to get around by car, although public transportation is abundant, and the ability to park corresponds well with this fact.
Neighbors around here are very friendly, although the area is a bit dull. Glen Canyon Park is a ten-minute walk from here and worth every second, as you can find yourself atop a remote hiking trail in the middle of the city. The area is far more modest than most, and offers a touch of city life with a touch of suburbia.
The hill that this street is located on is massive enough that it is actually scary to drive on, but is nowhere near as bad as Mangels, located one block uphill. Overall, it's kind of like the Queens of San Francisco, but closer, nicer, and with better weather.

Joost Ave
"A quiet friendly street on a big hill"
Joost Ave. is located in the Sunnyside area. It is a pretty quiet street. It is a residential street. I used to walk past this street all the time going up the big hill going to practice with my baseball buddies. It is such a pain to walk on this hill. It is a friendly area though. Right down the block is the busy Monterey Blvd. This street has access to muni buses 43, 23, and others. There is a Bart station that isnt too far either. Glen park and Sunnyside park are very close too. This street is a very safe street and would be a good street to live on.

"Quiet street right off a busy street"
Joost Avenue runs from Hazelwood Avenue to Diamond Street. It is parallel off Monterey Boulevard which is a very happening street with restaurants and shops. Monterey is also the home to many bus lines. The neighbors in this area are what made me love living here. Everyone was so friendly and most of them had dinner parties where everyone was invited to. Joost Avenue goes through Westwood park area to Glen Park. It is close to Dorothy Erskine Park which has a nice green field. All the houses on this block are unique, they are hardly the same. Everyone front yard is just as different. There is a preschool on Foerster. I loved growing up on this street and I recommend it for any family.
