Lake St
"A Seclusive Yet Lovely Place to Live"
I would LOVE to live on lake street. The houses are really big and beautiful here. It's clean and quiet and with just the right amount of grass, flowers, and trees. It's a quiet street, but not to quiet, where it's like its isolated. I love taking walks here especially during the evening as the sun is going down, it's so beautiful! It's really different here even though it's just 2 blocks down from Clement St. Lake St is like its own little world compared to Clement. I just to love going to trick or treat here when I was young because its mostly rich people that live here and they give out the best candies!

"The Sweet-Spot of San Francisco"
Lake St runs alond the southern edge of the Presidio from the end of Clay and Sacramento Sts (Presidio Heights) into Sea Cliff. While the houses are expensive they're a steal compared to either Sea Cliff or Presidio Heights.
Lake St. has a bicycle path and many access points to the Presidio and the neighborhood parks that dot its southern edge -- Mountain Lkae Park and Julius Kahn for example. You can walk to Clement St. with its perferct combination of Irish Pubs and Chinese Restauants.
On the Eastern end of Lake St. you can walk to upscale shopping along Sacramento St. and Laurel Heights. On the Western end you can walk to Baker Beach.
Lake St. is family central by San Francisco standards (perhaps Noe is the next best example). There is some nightlife on Clement St and more a short drive away on Union St or Chestnut St. it's not a hot spot.

Lake St
"A lot of beautiful houses"
Lake street in the Richmond District in San Francisco is visually stunning. All the houses on Lake street look like they just popped out of a movie. They give this urban city a good suburban feel. Just a couple blocks down from Lake street is the awesome Baker Beach. A quick jog from Lake street and you can enjoy the nice quiet beach. Even without parks, or places of entertainment, I strongly suggest visiting here. The houses all have lawns that are beautiful and tall trees that always look green. Lake street is a great place to go to if you just want some peace and quiet.

Lake St
"Nice place to go for a jog our a picnic with your family"
Lake street is a wonderful street for families it is very quiet. Lake is great if you like having a nice walk our if you like too have a nice cruise on your bike. There is Great Park called Mountain Lake, which has a nice lake and a really great playground for children. Also, Lake has a nice picnic area in Mountain Lake and overall is a very friendly street. If you drive the streets are usually very clear and there are not many cars on the street so if you’re learning how too drive this is a good street to begin with.

"Lake...There Really Is One!"
Lake Street is where I go with my family to ride bikes or to visit the awesome Mtn. Lake Park. Lots of people don't know this, but there is an actual lake here. You can feed ducks, play on the playground nearby, have a picnic, play tennis or just walk through the paths available to cyclists and pedestrians alike. There is also a designated area for dogs to run around sans leashes.

"Street that is very much apart of the Richmond but yet so different."
Lake Street sits on the very end of the Richmond district, and is the last street off of Park Presidio before you hit the Presidio. While still very much apart of the Richmond, Lake is kind of a secluded street as the houses on Lake and right off of Lake are significantly larger than the other nearby houses in the Richmond.
There isn’t much action going on at Lake as it mainly is a residential street, however if you make the short walk to Clement or Geary street, there are plenty of shops, stores, and restaurants. Lake Street is nearby lots of public transportation on Park Presidio Boulevard and Geary Street. However, if you choose to drive, be advised that parking on the street in this area isn’t very plentiful. I have tried to park at my friend’s house on 5th Avenue and Lake Street, and have drove around for close to 30 minutes before parking nearly 5 blocks away.
I’d recommend Lake Street for families and retirees. The area may be a little too placid for singles and couples who are looking to get out. In addition, the homes around this area can be pretty expensive.
