"Nice and Clean Neighborhood"
I came here a few times before for reasons including visiting and looking at real estate. My friend's sister lives here, and she really likes it here. It's a quite, clean and friendly neighborhood. Of the houses I've seen, most of them are actually pretty nice.
The houses here look new, big and spacious. There is lots of parking space since everybody has their own garages. The streets are wide and organized. I've seen kids played street hockey on them while I was there before. It's a safe neighborhood, and its a great place live. I would recommend people to raise or start a family here.

Chinatown
"Great Street Fair!! A++ Place for Fun"
There is a great street fair here during Chinese new years. I come here just for the street fair here every year. It's lots of fun, and its very similar to the one in San Francisco. It's not as big compared to it, but still lots of things to do. Also I I think the streets in the Oakland Chinatown is cleaner than the Chinatown in San Francisco.
Besides the street fair, this is actually a very busy neighborhood during normal times. There are lots to see, shop, and tons of restaurants to chose from to eat at. There is a great Vietnamese noodles shop here in this neighborhood that I go to every time I come here.

"A Good Street to Walk After Lunch"
This is a nice street to have lunch on and then take a walk after. There are many restaurants around here, and after lunch my friends and I used to take a walk down the street or to a park, since there are so many near by. This would be a nice place to spend an afternoon with friends or family. However, I wouldn't really want to live here though, since the street can get quite noisy.

"Not a bad Place to Live"
I wouldn't really mind living here if I worked in Oakland. The buildings aren't that bad here, and most of the building here looks pretty new, clean, and organized. I would recommend this place for families, couples, and singles to live. It's close to shop, restaurants, and shopping for groceries is easy. However, one thing is that parking is hard to find on this street though.

"Nice Place for Singles to Live"
There are a lot of nice apartment buildings around on this street. It's great for working singles to live here. Transportation is easy, with parking, and traffic isn't that bad here. The streets are also clean and organized. This part is one of the nicer and more new parts of Oakland. Within walking distance is downtown and chinatown.

"A Buget Friendly Place to Raise a Family"
I have been here tons of times. This is a nice place to live if you're single or if you want to raise a family and in a tight spot. Its' part of Chinatown, meaning close to many cheap shops and restaurants. It's also very close to the Bart station, and right on the street, is Madison Park. It's a small little park that's nice to just sit and relax in the sun or have a little walk and fun with your dog, if you have one.

"A Cheap but Nice Place to Live"
This is not a perfect place to live, but its not very expansive, near Chinatown with lots of shops and restaurants, and a few parks including a recreation center for teens. The houses are a bit old, but its what you get for the price you paid for. It's also very convenient and transportation is easy around here. My friend lives ere, and when I come over, its easy for me to drive or take the BART home to San Francisco.

"A Boring Street"
There nothing mush to do on this street. It looks like outer mission in San Francisco here, with lots of warehouses, and empty vacant lots. It's also a bit hot and stuff on the day I came here. Not much people actually come here or walk on the street. Mostly just building, lots and cars. I think besides the people that work at the warehouse, not much comes by here.
Alice St
"A Noisy Street"
There used to be a sushi restaurant here that I would come to about once a week. It's a noisy street, with lots of traffic, and parking is hard to find too. Besides the sushi restaurant, there are also a few other chinese restaurants nearby. One thing that I'm surprised or is that, even though so much people comes and goes here, the street is actually pretty clean and not littered by garbage.

"A Better Part of Oakland"
I used to work around here, and come by here almost every week when I go to work. I consider here a better part of Oakland. The houses are newer and less run down compared to other parts of Oakland. The streets are not very clean, but are organized, and I feel safe walking down this street alone.

"Not a Safe Place to Be!"
I have been to here a few times, because my uncle owns a auto body shop here on this street. I have been here during the day in the afternoon only, the latest I have stayed here is till 5 or 6 pm. My uncles told me its not a safe place to be especially at night. He uses chains, lots of locks, and even a watch dog for his store when he closes at night. Its a bit run down and the air is a little musky around the area. A recommendation is to never walk down this street alone, especially at night, and watch out for strangers.
East St
"A Run Down Street"
My aunt brought a house on this street, and I have visited her a couple of times including her house warming party. Truths, I don't really like it there. The house in the area is a bit run down and there are many guard dogs that bark at you when you walk pass the houses. One of the dogs even tried to jump over the fence and pounce on me, but lucky that he was on a leash.
College Terrace
"Beautiful Neighborhood to Live in"
College Terrance is a really pretty neighborhood. As much as I want to live here, I wanted to go to school here. College Terrance got its name because its right next to Stanford University. My friend goes to school at Standford, and rents a house here in this neighborhood with a few roommates. I have stayed over night before with her, and there isn't a problem at all with the noise level.
The houses here are big, beautiful, and new. The streets are clean and parking isn't hard to find. It has lots of different colors and types of trees on the streets. It's a great place for a jog or just a walk down the street after a meal.

"Quiet Friendly Neighborhood"
This is a typically small town quiet neighborhood. It has clean streets, with little cars and people. It's mostly houses, trees, and greens. I didn't see much shops in the area, mostly just houses. This is a nice place to live, but not much to do for entertainment or fun. I didn't even see a movie theater while I was there, most of what I saw where houses and more house. It seemed really boring there, and I wouldn't really want to live there.
People that I would recommend to live here would be retired couples that want a quiet life, no tall buildings and nothing fancy.

"Great Place for a Family"
I have came here a few times looking at the real estates here. I really like this area. The housing is affordable, big, clean, and quite new. There are a lot of trees and green, with just the right amount of people and cars. Not too much so that the streets are crowded, and not too little that it seems deserted. The streets are also neat and clean.
I really like the houses here, and I'm still planning to buy from here. It's a great place to raise a family or for young couples to live here. Shopping is easy especially with a car. Near by there is a Costco, and there are lots of small grocers and shop. If you don't feel like cooking, there's also lots of unique restaurants.

"Small Streets No Room"
Something special about this area is that there are a lot of unique shops and restaurants here instead of any big chain stores. It's a pretty clean and and neat neighborhood and lots of small shops and restaurants.
For a downtown, the streets are really small and narrow. No tall buildings or skyscrapers. It feels like an area where a small town's shops and restaurants gather up together. There's a lot of cars, and public parking is hard to find unless you're parking in a garage. It's also really hot here. I was sweating so much even though there was a lot of shade from the trees.

"A Quiet Neighborhood With Nothing to Do"
I've been here a few times during the day, and its kind of a deserted street. It's the middle of the day, and I didn't see anybody on the street but me and my co-workers. There is nothing much to do in this area. It's quiet and a little bit lonely. It's mostly houses and once in a while there would be a shop or restaurant. The houses are big, but old looking, with lots of trees in the area. I also saw lots of empty vacant lots while passing by, it feels like a small town down south where everybody knows everybody. It would be boring living here. The only people I would recommend to live here are retired people looking for a quiet place to live in.

"Lots to Eat and Explore!"
I like coming here, but more during the evening because its cooler and the street is lighted up with lots of small pretty lights. I'm a sales, and I travel around the bay area a lot. Of all the places I go to, this is one of the places I like to go to for meetings, because I get to try out all the different restaurants in this area. (^.^)v Especially around 3rd and 4th Avenue, there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
The area is clean and it isn't really crowded. On e Restaurant that I've tried is called Central Park Bistro. The food and service is great there, I had a great time there, and would definitely return there. I would totally recommend it to everyone.

"Downtown... More Like Ghost Town"
I was so surprised when I got here! The street was almost deserted! The downtown's that I'm used to are busy streets with tall building, lots of shops, lots of people, and lots of cars. I didn't even know until my friend told me that we're in the downtown of Fremont! O_o
This is like a resting place for truckers. The streets were really big and wide more like a highway, and the greens there were un-attended and turning yellow. There wasn't much shops or any restaurant to eat or shop in. Passing by I saw a few fast food chains like McDonald's and that was about it. The only reason that I would want to live here is if someone paid me to.

This is a great neighborhood. I come here about 4 or 5 times a month for meetings. The streets here are clean and organized, the is clean, and the people here are nice too! There are also a lot of shops and restaurants in this neighborhood. It has just the right amount of people and car in the streets, and the safety here is pretty good too. I've been here both during the day and night. Driving down one of the main streets at night here was really pretty too. There were many small lights and the street had an orange glow to it. I would love to live here if I had the money. Shopping is easy, and a bicycle is enough to travel around the neighborhood.

"Work and Nothing More"
The main office for my old job is here in this neighborhood. It's mostly office buildings and a few drug stores and restaurants around here. Travel is convenient since there is the Bart and the bus here. With the Bart I can get to and from here around the bay area very easily. I feel that the streets is a little dirty with some litter on the floor, but the buildings here looks new and modernized. It's a very similar to San Francisco, downtown here, but with a lot less people and cars in the streets.
I've only been here during the day, and I feel safe walking in the streets alone here by myself. The only thing is that I get hit on almost every time when I come out of the Bart station by small group of guys that hang around there.

"Great Place to Live for Retires"
This is a great place to live, and its affordable too! The houses here looks new and they are big, mostly one story houses. It's a great place for singles and retirees to live. The streets are wide and clean, and there is a lot of green in this neighborhood too; with two big parks in this area, and one of them is Washington Park. It's a nice place to take a walk in or walk your dog on a sunny afternoon.
However, there are two downsides to living here. One, is that there isn't really any big malls or shopping centers to go to for shopping, and two is that the Bart don't pass through here, so traveling to and from the bay area is a bit troublesome.

"Close to Everything"
There is nothing really special in this neighborhood, but it's close to a lot of things! Surrounding the area is lots of shopping malls and centers, streets full of shops and boutiques, and further down south is a BART station. I would say the most convenient form of travel here is the car and then the second is the BART. Funny enough, its even close to a very big cemetery.
I have been here in the area looking at real estate before. The houses in this area seems mid-ranged in size and age. I saw a lot of Victorian style house too. It's an alright place to live in, and the prices compared to San Francisco is a lot cheaper. If you work at Tanforan Shopping center or Serramonte, its a pretty nice place to live, and its close to work.

"Shopaholics' Best Friend"
This is the best neighborhood for a shopaholic to live in. It has so department store, malls, shopping centers, and plazas. The houses here are big and spacious, and the streets are clean and organized here in this neighborhood. As for grocery shopping and food, there are many supermarkets and numerous restaurant in this area. I come here at least 3 or 4 times a month.
As for the transportation in this area, the most convenient would be cars and the second most convenient would be the BART. There is a third option of SamTrans buses, but I don't recommend them unless it's your last resort. I took the SamTrans buses from San Francisco to go to Daly City twice before, and they are both negative. The last bus from Serramonte back to San Francisco is around 5pm and if you miss that ride, the BART is the only resort home unless you find someone to pick you up, and that's what happen to me once. As for the second experience, I end up stranded in South San Francisco with 2 of my friends and didn't get home until 12AM.

"A Place to Have Fun"
This is a pretty nice place to live in. It's close to both indoor and outdoor entertainment depending to which you prefer. For outdoor entertainment, there's Marchbank Park, and Century Movie Theaters the next street over for indoor entertainment.
Even though there's a highway nearby, this street is far enough to avoid all the traffic noise. Parking is never a hassle since people who live here have their own garages, there are many parking spots on the street. The house here are nice looking, very clean and organized street.

Best of all if you prefer the indoors, Century Theaters is just down the street from here. It's right behind Marchbank Park. It's like a small plaza there with a movie theater and lots of shop to get food and drinks.
The houses around here are nice and the streets are clean. It's a little bit similar to the Sunset district in San Francisco. However, unlike sunset, parking is easy here.

"A Foggy Street"
This is a quiet a reserved street for people. I hardly see people walk down this street, Mostly only seen cars drive by. It's also very very foggy here at night sometimes. So foggy that I consider it not very safe to drive in. Once I stayed over here a little too late, around until 12AM, and I was driving around 10 to 15mph here until I finally got onto the bigger road where I started to drive a little faster. It was so foggy I could hardly see what was up front! High beam was a little help, but it the fog didn't really get better until I got to Junipero Serra Blvd.

"A Place to Visit for Pool"
I come here once every often to play pool at one of the shops on this street. I wouldn't really call this a nice looking place. The street here is dirty with garbage laying around, the houses on this street are old looking, and its also kind of noise here too. This is not a place where I would want to live, but only visit once every so often.
At the start of this street, there a place to play pool/billiard and I like that place. Even though its so noise outside, once you enter the place, its like all the noise for the outside is gone. Right across from the place is a Walgreen's.

"A Not Scary Cementery Road"
Driving down the road, you can see lots and more lots of graves of Chinese people. There a big Chinese Cemetery here.I come here twice a year to visit/pay my respect to my great grandmother and grandfather every year. I come here so often, I can even picture the place in detail in my mind. For a cemetery it not creepy at all. However, I've only came here during the day, and never at night.
I would say this is a great place to live for the dead, and maybe a place to visit only for the living. There are many trees and even more graves here. Except for paying your respects to the dead, there's nothing else you can do here, unless you want to do something disrespectful..

"The Best Place to go Shopping!"
The is my favorite place to go shopping. I come about 2 to 4 times a month here to go shopping. This is where the Serramonte Shopping Center is, and it has everything from the big departments stores like Macy's and Target to retails like Forever 21. A restaurant that I would recommend here is the Elephant Bar. I've been to here a few times, and the food here is pretty good. The portions tend to be a little on the bigger side, but it's a great value.
I've been here even at times since late at night at 11pm. However, I recommend not to be alone here in the parking lot at night, because one time while my friends and I were shopping in the mall, another friend of ours called me on my cellphone telling me that he see a couple of latino men trying to pry open my other friend's car! Lucky it was stopped in time or there to be any lost.

"A Quiet Neighborhood Street"
I've only been here once, and during that time I was accompanying a friend to look at a house listed for sale there. It's a quiet street considering the time to be in the afternoon, while I was there. It's a street that's somewhere in the middle. The surrounding area and the houses in the area is not pretty and everything, but it passes and I consider it livable. The houses here are actually pretty big and spacious too. It reminded me of the area around CCSF Ocean Campus while I was there.

"A Livley and Fun Place to live in"
The Richmond is a great place to live in. There are many unique shop and boutiques, restaurants, and parks. It's also a safe neighborhood with low crime rate. Many of San Francisco's beautiful homes and houses resides in this area. I find it hard to be bored in this neighborhood. In the morning there are parks, the community pool, and shops to go to, while at night there are many bars large and small, and large variety of restaurants, and even movie theaters in this area.
One of my favorites in this neighborhood is that there are different snack shops with unique snacks like crepes, eggetts, tapioca drinks, quickly, and much more! Besides this, the variety of restaurant in this neighborhood covers the majority of different cuisines. They have cuisines varying from Burmese to French to Vietnamese. You will never get bored of the things you get to eat here, there's so many!

"I Would Never be Here Alone at Night"
I have been here quiet a few times because I have a couple of friends that live here, but I would never really want to live here though. The street is dirty, and once I even saw a dead rat lying on the curb! Yuck! It's also not a safe place to be alone, especially at night. My friend a boy, who live there was mugged two times before by a bunch of kids younger than him while walking home at night! The first time I was there, the whole time I was clinging onto my friend thinking "when can I go home.." I wouldn't recommend anyone to live there unless they were desperate and in need of money desperately.
Balboa St
"Balboa Near Ocean Beach"
Balboa is a pretty long street, it goes all the way to Ocean Beach. The houses on the street is okay, but not the best. If you drive along the street there are sections like from 3rd Ave. to 8th Ave. and 30th Ave. to 38th Ave. where there are lots of restaurants and some shops, while all the other rest are house and more houses. Balboa is a little far off from the busy and more lively streets like Clement and Geary Blvd. so it can be a bit boring at times. The view there is not special or anything, its just normal houses and apartments, and living there isn't really expensive and I consider it a safe neighborhood to live in.

"A Seclusive Yet Lovely Place to Live"
I would LOVE to live on lake street. The houses are really big and beautiful here. It's clean and quiet and with just the right amount of grass, flowers, and trees. It's a quiet street, but not to quiet, where it's like its isolated. I love taking walks here especially during the evening as the sun is going down, it's so beautiful! It's really different here even though it's just 2 blocks down from Clement St. Lake St is like its own little world compared to Clement. I just to love going to trick or treat here when I was young because its mostly rich people that live here and they give out the best candies!

Park Presidio Blvd
"Street with Most Trees"
Park Presidio Blvd, is probably the street in San Francisco that I know of with the most grass and trees. It's kind of like a mini highway that connects the Richmond District to the Sunset District, you can get to and from the richmond and sunset really fast here. It's also connected to big parks like Mountain Lake Park and Golden Gate Park. However, not a nice place to live on, its very noisy with the traffic. Can be classified as on of the streets that never dies in San Francisco.

"A Nice Place to Live"
I like it at Arguello Blvd. It's near many many shops and crosses over Geary Blvd. The houses here are very big and are also very nice to live in too, but it can be really expansive. It's a nice and quiet neighborhood with lots of flower, grass and trees. However, best of all its home to Ross Playground, with the community pool, tennis and basketball courts, baseball and soccer field, and a very nice and big play structure for kids. It's a shame they don't allow dogs in though.

I really like it here in Sacramento Street. I used to work on this street, and everyday when I used to walk down the street to where I would work, I loved it! It's very clean and beautiful here. Even till now, I would really want to live here, the houses here are so beautiful. The are tons of small unique shops and boutiques here, and the transportation's not bad. It's also right next to Laural Heights, where there are loads of shops too. However, even though there are place to shop for groceries and daily needs, not much restaurants around.

Market St
"The Heart of Shopping in San Francisco"
Market Street has everything you need when it comes to shopping. It's one of my number ones places I go to when I want to go shopping. It has all the major department stores to individual business owners who sell their products on the street. It's very busy and lively here from morning to day, especially since its right nest to the financial district. However, I don't really like how it can be crowed here at times, and that there's this really weird man who sits right in front of the GAP store on Market with a very BIG sign and yells out to everyone "no dirty second hands only virgin..." very bad vib.

Mission St
"The Murals in San Francisco"
In Mission Street, you can find many many artists murals that you can't find else where in San Francisco. It's a very lively and colorful street. I've been here a many times, and once I even went on a murals tour with a few friends here. There were many different murals, from dark and simple ones to very colorful and vibrant ones. I feel that a part in Mission St. has a very "artisy vib" to it. If you're into art, I would recommend you come here a have a look at the murals here.

Grant Ave
"A Big Part of Chinatown"
Grant Ave. is a big part of Chinatown. It's the street with all the fun little shops and boutiques that you can shop around. It's also a big tourist attraction in Chinatown. I see people from all over around the world visiting there, from the French to Austrians. When I was in high school it was the place me and my friends would hang out at almost everyday! It's so busy and always so much things we can do there.

Geary Blvd
"The San Francisco Highway"
Geary Blvd is like the San Francisco highway, you can get from one end of the city to the other end in a straight line, (but in actual it's not a real highway). You can go to almost any part of the city with Geary Blvd. There are so many stores, boutiques, bars, etc on Geary Blvd. I don't think a person can be bored. The street is never really quiet or empty. Even at 3 or 4 AM you can still see a few cars driving by. However, one thing I don't really like is that at night if living here the traffic noise can be a problem.

"Great Place to Live"
Clement Street is a great place to live in, especially from 2nd Ave. to 11th Ave. You can find almost anything you need here, and the things here (except for the rent) isn't very expensive. It's close to lots of different bus lines like 1,2,4, 38, and 44. it's only a 15-20 minute bus ride to downtown. At night there are at least 5 or 6 different bars you can go to just around the area from 6th Ave. to 2nd Ave. Some people call it the "Second Chinatown" here, but its not as crowded or dirty as the actual Chinatown in San Francisco. Everything is just really easily accessible. I loved living here!
