"Perfect Place - Great Area"
Marble Hill is in the Bronx - Manhattan border near Riverdale area and the 225th Street Shopping center. The shopping center is just a couple blocks away near Broadway. It is a great calm area with some amazing people living there and a very friendly atmosphere.
When living in this area I felt very welcomed by neighbors and really enjoyed the quiet area, There almost no traffic which is great so you can have a window open in the summer and not worry about cars honking there horns. The most noise i heard was from the sanitation trucks in the mornings on Tuesdays and Thursday early in the morning.
In the area there is also a recreational park named Marblehill playground which many family's take there kids and sometime the Yogi Truck which provides games, toys, freebie to young kids passes by in the park and the kids really enjoy it. The shopping center is probably the most visited area near Marblehill. The shopping center is in River Plaza which was built a couple years ago and features Target® , Marshall's®, Starbucks®, Planet Fitness®, GameStop®, WaMu® (soon to JP Morgan Chase® Bank), Apple Bee's®, City Jeans® and other stores as well.
Overall I give the Marblehill Area a 20 out of 10 if it was possible for such a great living area to raise a family along with being a very quiet area as well.
