"Close to everything yet quiet neighborhood living"
We recently moved to Golden Meadows neighborhood in Fort Collins, Co. I had been looking at this community for several years and once our home in Wellington went under contract we got serious. Golden Meadows is a quit community in the heart of south Fort Collins. It is on the NW side of the intersection of Harmony Rd and Lemay Ave. It is close to shopping, entertainment, resturants and a short drive to I-25. I can be in either Devver or Rocky Mountain National Park in less then an hour.
Golden Meadows community really shows pride of ownership. The homes are kept in excelent shape and the people are very friendly. There is Golden Meadows park a block from my house and it has tennis courts, play ground, a hiking and biking trail with exercise stations and a lake where you can fish or watch the local wild life. The trail is part of the city wide biking trail. This section is called the Power line trail.
Fort Collins is a very outdoor oriented city. It is located close to the National forest to the west, the Pawnee Grasslands to the East. There is the Big Thompson river to the south and the Cache la Poudre river to the North that runs through down town. Don't miss Old Town with its quaint shops and dining. Fort Collins is also home to CSU
