Michigan Ave, Dearborn

Michigan Ave in Dearborn is where most of Dearborn's downtown is located. It cuts right through the center of Dearborn. On its east side it enters Detroit and on its west side it heads into Dearborn heights and then Inkster. It is a very busy street with some traffic issues specifically in the downtown area. However, the traffic is worth the headache because there are many places to park downtown and walk around to various bars, restaurants, and stores in the area. The Dearborn public library is also along Michigan Ave. There are not many homes off of Michigan Ave., but there are some condos and townhomes behind it in the downtown area. Their location is perfect for young couples looking for fun and singles. I would not recommend living near or on Michigan Avenue for retirees and families because of how busy it can get in the daytime. The area is pretty safe within the city of Dearborn but straying too far to the East and one finds themselves surrounded by strip clubs (Detroit) and too far to the west, one will find a likewise 'seedy' neighborhood (Inkster).
