South Bronson Ave, Jefferson Park

This street has so many dealers on the corner the police just drive by them, I can not tell you how many times I have seen someone strung out on whatever all on the side walk or the alley. This street is the worst. The 3 years I was there the bank 3 blocks away and the other bank 7 blocks away both were robbed and at one of the banks the security guard was shoot and died he was apparently getting ready to leave that bank because he said it was getting to bad. The street has been blocked off on more then 3 occasions because of shoots or chasing someone or something. Every night it was like the beginning of MASH, you hear helicopters and sometimes they get so close you’d have to raise your voice over them. There was a complex for sale on the street, I looked at it and it had gang signs and gang's names in the closet (you'd think the realtor would have covered that) but you can cover the outside. I gave it a high mark on transportation because my car was acting badly so I decided to take the bus to school and it was a good experience as far as how close it was and how fast it was. There is allot of cheap crap food around such as McDonalds, pizza hut , taco bell, el pollo loco, yoshinoya and little ceaser's. There is also a BBQ place and a 99 cent soul food buffet (interesting experience). I would recommend this place for people who do not plan to live here long and stay in the house and only go out when necessary. I don't want to panic anyone it's just not a good neighborhood.
