"Via Landeta-- Just a great street."
A friend of mine has lived on this street for nearly 30 years. She absolutely loves this street. One side of Via Landeta is flat, the other side is on a slight hill. The hilly side has huge homes. Most have incredible ocean views. On the flat side, the homes are smaller and older. Most kids on this street just walk to the Palos Verdes Intermediate School which is the highest scoring middle school on the Peninsula. Via Landeta feels safe and clean. Just a great street!

"Via La Cresta-- Very friendly neighbors."
Via La Cresta is an amazing street. There is a real friendship amongst the neighbors. They have a nighborhood party for Labor Day, with bouncers and great food. The street is super wide, so parking is never a problem. There is a bus stop at nearby Hawthorne Blvd. Some high school kids take it to the Peninsula High School. The park is within walking distance and it offers stunning ocean views.

"Saran Drive-- Mix of old and new."
Saran Drive is an interesting street because it has a mix of brand new homes and apartments, but also older homes. Del Rey Church brings a nice touch to this street. It's a great street for families with kids because you can walk to the nearest elementary school which is a magnet school for science. The high school, however, is not a very high ranking school.
Pros
- Close to everything
- Walking distance to school
Cons
- Can be loud at Manchester Blvd.

"Alta Vista Drive-- A charming street with expensive homes."
Alta Vista Drive is a small street in Rancho Palos Verdes. The street offers amazing homes, most of which are in the $2 + million price range. Since Alta Vista is not a through street, it is mainly just the residents you see there. Many homes have large yards and stunning ocean views. Alta Vista Drive is within walking distance to Ryan E. Park, which is one of the most beautiful parks on the Peninsula. Not many parks have unobstructed ocean views. Alta Vista is adjacent to Hawthorne Boulevard, which is one of the main streets on the Peninsula. Hawthorne Blvd. gets you to all the major shopping, schools, and freeways. Alta Vista Drive is a charming street with beautiful homes and a great location. It’s a fantastic place to live, if you can afford it.
