West Dr
"Great City Escape!"
Before we left our Brooklyn trip, we stopped into Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. This place was absolutely beautiful and much larger than I expected. Since it was in the summertime, there were many people walking their animals, playing, and enjoying the summer air. It was a very relaxing place to escape to!

Ave U
"Lots to Do!"
After we left Coney Island, we drove to Joe's of Avenue U and had the best spaghetti! It was to die for! The street was packed with people out walking to many destinations to eat. There were many restaurants that looked great and a few bars were swarming with people. I would recommend going for a few great meals & fun shopping!

"Great Highway Drive"
While visiting friends out in Brooklyn, they took us on Belt Parkway on our way to Coney Island. There were streaches of this road that were just beautiful!! Part of this drive overlooks Sandy Hook Bay and many great beaches. It was a very pretty drive!I would take this highway everyday to work!!At least if there is traffic, you will have some pretty views!!

Surf Ave
"Lots of things to do!"
Our friends brought us to Surf Avenue while visiting a few summers ago. My husband and I just loved this part of Brooklyn! We walked around Keyspan Park which is beautiful! Surf Avenue is also by Coney Island. Tons of people of all ages with many exciting things to do! We strongly recommend others to go!

Myrtle Ave
"Stay away from area"
While visiting friends in Brooklyn my husband and I got lost and ended up on Myrtle Avenue. We were happy to find our way and leave! Myrtle Ave was a very rough area with many housing projects around. The area did not look safe and I wouldn't walk down that street alone. I would avoid many other streets around Myrtle Avenue.
Park Slope
"Cute place to live!"
Our friends that we visited lived off of Fifth Avenue in a small apartment. This was an awesome neighborhood. Many young families with a few eateries scattered through out. They told us that this neihgborhood was fairly new and very up and coming. Clean, safe, friendly and great for people of all ages.

Manhattan Ave
"Must visit in Brooklyn!!"
My favorite part of visiting Brooklyn was touring the fun Manhanattan Ave!! My husband and I are in our late 20's so we loved shopping around and checking out all of the eateries. I couldn't believe how nice and new this place was. There were many condos & apartments up for rent and lese which I found hard to believe as the street was packed with people! Looks like it would be a blast at night.

Flatbush Ave
"A busy Street in Brooklyn"
When we visited our friends, one afternoon they took us for a walk down a few miles of Flatbush Ave. I was amazed at all of the hustle and bussle! There were hundreds of vendors up and down the street. The roas was busy with a constant heavy flow of traffic. I learned later that Flatbush is the main street through Brooklyn.Lots to buy, look at and tons to do along this street.

Tillary St
"Street with a View"
Welcome to Brooklyn! When we drove to visit friends in Brooklyn, we drove on Brooklyn Bridge Blud to get there. We came into the city on a Sunday afternoon. The traffic was not too bad. The bridge had a great view of the Upper New York Bay. I would avoid driving on this road during rush hour. Our friends told us it is a complete gridlock.

Court St
"Nice Community in Brooklyn"
A few years ago we visited friends who lived in Brooklyn. They took us to an eatery called Miriam for breakfast. The street was a very relaxed atmosphere with many things to do! There were many people waving and stopping to chat with one another. Our friends told us they enjoy coming to Court Street because everyone is very friendly. Miriam was a great place to eat at!
