"pretty good for a summer walk"
Shore Parkway is pretty good for a walk during the evening in the summers. The wind is pretty cool and the view is fantastic where you can have a full scene of the harbors and also Manhattan and The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge which connect Brooklyn and the Staten Island. During the summer nights you can find a lot people hang out there, as well as a lot of people jogging and bicycling. It is a pretty nice choice to go to have some really relax time and take a deep breath far away the city.

"Great Highway Drive"
While visiting friends out in Brooklyn, they took us on Belt Parkway on our way to Coney Island. There were streaches of this road that were just beautiful!! Part of this drive overlooks Sandy Hook Bay and many great beaches. It was a very pretty drive!I would take this highway everyday to work!!At least if there is traffic, you will have some pretty views!!

"A service road turned residential?"
I've been seeing a lot of condominiums and residential complexes being built along Shore Pkwy recently and I cant figure out why anyone would want to live there. Shore Pkwy is basically a service road of the Belt Pkwy and is surrounded by the constant sound and smell of cars zooming down the Belt. Shore Pkwy is a dark and dirty street which is fine for driving down, but I couldn't imagine living on it.

""A Tree Grew in Brooklyn""
At one time this area was home to the oldest tree in Brooklyn until they paved paradise and put up a parking lot and five or six other buildings in it's place.
Other than those sad memories the place is great to raise a family. People are friendly and yards are avaiable.,
Most homes have garages which is a plus in any Brooklyn neighbor.
