"From Schools to the Woods to Bus Training"
W. 254th Street has it all. On one end there is a school area. This is around Riverdale Avenue. Then you go for a while through what looks like a country setting. Once you get past this area you run into an academy for school buses.
There isn't that much regarding residential living, at least not from what I saw. But if you want you can visit the place, or stay for a short time. If you can find a nice place to live in the area, the Riverdale School system is considered very good.

"West 254th Street"
Another street that I was pleasantly surprised by. There is beautiful housing here, and if your life is uptown, this is a wonderful place to live in the city. The nearby parks and colleges keep the area trafficked, but the homes keep it centered, in a nice shift from downtown living. I think that it feels like a completely different city, losing the unattached ness of living in the city’s large buildings. And in my opinion, there’s nothing like having a yard.
