"Close knit neighborhood"
I had the chance to check out the neighborhoods along Roberta Ave. a while back when I was visiting friends. The street itself is not very long and actually pretty secluded from the main traffic streets. It’s located between Euclid St and Brookhurst St. primarily. What I like most about the neighborhoods found here was how close nit everything seemed. The area was clean, neighbors always look friendly and houses were well maintained. On the corner of Brookhurst St. and Roberta Ave. you’ll find the Orangethorpe School Park. One thing I find strange is that west of Brookhurst St. Roberta Ave. changes to Page Ave. for about a block then back to Roberta which I always found odd. The area west of Brookhurst St. is also a very quiet residential neighborhood. It ends at a cul-de-sac which adds a nice touch of privacy to the neighborhood. I also like how close the freeways are to Roberta. You can catch the 91 frwy or the 5 frwy very quickly. The balance between privacy and quietude and access to the more fast paced streets of the city is done well in these neighborhoods. I wouldn’t mind finding a nice place to settle down in here.
