"Quiet, green and peaceful"
The neighborhood of 21st Ave. S. is quiet and very green, though the surrounding area can be a bit of a deterrent. The street is lined with single-family homes and the neighbors are friendly, some even outgoing. There is an abundance of greenery and the trees, gardens and bushes provide some nice solitude and shade. The nearby North SeaTac Park offers some play areas for the kids and great walking trails. Boulevard Park, just east on S. 128th St. is a bit run down and not very appealing. Access to Hwy 509 and Hwy 518 offers a quick way to get to downtown Seattle, north of the city or out of town. Beach access is a short drive away. The neighborhood is generally quiet and kids would be safe riding their bikes in the area, though it's a good idea to watch out for them. Shops, restaurants and grocery stores are close by in Burien and Tukwila. Highline Medical Center is close by on Military Road.
