"Small Street, Great Location"
This is not a cheap place to live - by any stretch of the imagination. Located in Saratoga, right between the downtown main drag and Castle Rock State Park, this has to be one of the most expensive sections of real estate in the Bay Area - unless you simply rent a room.
That said, there is a reason why it is so expensive to live here - the tiny afterthought of a street is essentially at the foothills of a beautiful redwood forest, and within a half hour drive of two great California State Parks - Big Basin/Redwood State Park and the aforementioned Castle Rock. On the other side, downtown Saratoga has great shops and local dining, with a very, VERY ritzy feel to it.
Did I mention it is less than an hour to San Francisco?
Overall, this is a great place to live if you can afford it. The location really does offer the best of all worlds.
