Madison St
"it's ok if you know people and know the area."
Malcolm x blvd especially at the intersection of Fulton avenue isn't the best place to go if you don't know the area especially at night. they tend to be a lot of gang members( mainly bloods) standing around getting high and on multiple times I've seen people get beat up and rob. though it's a little rough it is a perfect place since the bus (b46) travel along the street and it's not far from the train station where the A and C train stops (Utica avenue). I've never had any problems there since i know many people in the area.

"Brown Stone homes"
A quiet tree lined street with brown stone homes. North General Hospital is also on this street. Most trees are not to old wide side walks. It is kept pretty clean. Single and milti family homes. On street parking. Not much crime. A one way street with not a lot of traffic.
