"Far-flung street on the edge of the West side"

When I first moved to Wichita I had no real idea of the scale of the town. Someone gave me directions to a store on Maize and said "keep driving til you think you've gone too far, then a little more, and you'll be almost there." Very apt, given that I lived on the far East side. All in all, a nice, well-maintained road with lots of housing and commercial properties, just a little too removed from Wichita proper for my tastes.
