Ophir Dr, Westwood

Ophie Drive is a quieter turnoff from Veteran Avenue, where campus traffic connects drivers between Wilshire and Sunset Boulevards. The students on Ophir that walk throughout the day are pleasant, but can be noisy on weekend evenings when athlete gatherings can get louder than audibly acceptable. Some of the buildings are kept in good shape by their respective managements and provide a collegiate touch sure to evoke remembrances of one's university days. The proximity to Westwood Village and to all points of the campus made this street very helpful to use by foot or car during my time there.

Ophir Drive features many apartments, mostly inhabited by UCLA students. It is within convenient walking distance to UCLA's campus. There are some decent apartments on this street, better than some areas. The neighborhood is a little quieter than some other streets close to campus. This is a good, more low key place for UCLA students to live.
