"Leaves Something to Be Desired"
Orchard Street is a residential neighborhood in Fairburn Georgia, that leaves something to be desired. Part of the problem with this neighborhood is being so closely located to a high crime, highly drug infested area. Even if the neighbors wanted to improve their neighborhood, and I'm sure some do, having that kind of derelict element so close by makes it increasingly difficult.
Some of the small cottage style homes are nicely maintained; while many others have gone to seed. Again because of adjacent neighborhoods, resale and rental values in the Orchard Street neighborhood are low. There is a great deal of through traffic with people from outside the community looking for drugs.
This is not the best community for those who can choose to live differently. Not a great community for children or anyone looking for safety, cleanliness, peace and quiet.
