"Schenley Drive, Schenley Park - gorgeous and worth the trip..."
Schenley Park is like a jewel in the middle of Pittsburgh due to the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. The Victorian glasshouses are huge, and have displays of various ecosystems; desert, tropical, flowers, fruits. They also change displays with the seasons. Schenley Park is definitely worth your while. The park also offers a golf course, swimming, and has a lot of university students and business people, so there is an interesting mix of people.

"Green, green and green"
Green is the dominant color when you travel through Schenley Drive. During the spring, you can take a long walk and watch the beautiful surrounding area. Here you can also find the wonderful Phipps Conservatory Garden, where you can see very pleasant flowers and plants. There are always permanent exhibitions and some very good temporary ones. The orchids' room has a very good smell where you feel that you just entered a new world.
Walking or by car, this is a very good trip to make.

"Schenley Drive: A Paradise In The Big City"
When recently visiting Pittsburgh as a tourist, I of course wanted to visit the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. This attraction is truly worth the drive, but the street it is on is almost an attraction in itself. Schenley Drive is green: green trees, green grass, a park in the middle of the city. Before you even get to the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, you sense that you are coming near it just because the drive in is so earthy. We walked along the street and just enjoyed it a bit before going into Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens for our tour. With the city all around you, its like a little pocket of earth inside a cement bowl. Very interesting to say the least.
