"Small street next to the rec center"
Shepard Pl. is located in Chinatown. It is a little alleyway off of Mason. It has apartment buildings on one side and the Chinatown Rec Center on the other. I used to play basketball all the time in the summer at the Chinatown Rec center. Everyone would call it “CC”. This neighborhood is pretty safe most of the time. There are businesses and stores down he street on Powell. It is mainly Chinese stores. There is access to muni lines and cable cars from here.
