"Fabulous spot for an all day adventure"
Hundreds of cars can be seen orbiting the intersection of Glassell St. and Chapman Ave. no matter what time of day. Whether it’s the business men and woman meeting clients for lunch, local residents trying to maneuver around town for some shopping along the various storefronts or the evening traffic checking out the area for the nightlife, this particular intersection commonly referred to as the “Orange Circle” is a great place to spend some time. It hits the trifecta of entertainment my friends and I usually look for in any hotspot. Good food, fabulous shopping and stellar nightlife options. The selection of food ranges from fast food, burgers and fries, sit down dining, or quick café style eateries with fresh pastries and delicious signature sandwiches. While most of the shopping ties into the theme of antiques and bargain hunting there are plenty of unique stores to rummage through to find something special for yourself or a loved one. And once the sun goes down the life of this historical neighborhood doesn’t go down with it. While it’s no hustle and bustle mecca, it does offer a good variety of options for its nightly audience. Harboring bars, small night clubs and extended restaurant hours for the drinkers and late diners the “Orange Circle” is a one-stop locale for fun.
