Waverly Pl
"Waverly Pl: Famous Today"
This street is probably among one of the most historical and famous streets in San Francisco. It contains some very old temples, though they don't look ancient since they are re-painted once in a while. This street is between Washington Street and Clay Street, so it is convenient for crossing from one street to another. This street is in Chinatown, which means that there are hundreds of stores around. Waverly Place has a few printing and copying places and two places to eat. There is also a shop for souvenirs and other appliances. There are fairs held on this street once or twice a year and celebrations during Chinese New Year. This is a great place for families to visit.

"Historically Signifigant and Great Buildings Highlight Waverly Alley"
Waverly Alley is located between Washington St. and Sacramento St. in Chinatown. This alley is in my opinion the most important in Chinatown. In this alley the first Buddist temple was erected. Waverly Alley is also home to some of the most lovely arcitecture in Chinatown. For many years this alley was know as Fifteen Cent Alley because barbers that worked the alley would charge fifteen cents for a haircut. As I'm writing this Waverly Alley is scheduled for nearly a 1 million dollar facelift. This makes me very happy that San Francisco has decided to focus some effort on preserving these historically important alleys.
