"Bad rap for a quiet neighborhood"
The first impression of this neighborhood is how quiet it is. The homes are typical single-family houses, nothing extravagant or pretentious, but nice homes. The street is completely lines with trees, bushes and flowers. The neighbors are friendly. So why the bad rap? Burien, for a while, had a problem with crime, and is just now starting to lose the stigma as an unsafe part of Seattle. It should, too. The area has everything you could want from a suburb, plus great people, a hub of transportation and less traffic than almost anywhere else in the city.
