Southcenter Mall used to be the forgotten stepchild of the Seattle malls. With the recent renovations to the mall, itself, as well as the shopping centers and restaurants along Southcenter Blvd., there's very little you won't find. High end department stores to budget clothing shops meet the need of every shopper and the arrangement of the shops is far superior to what it was just last year. The mall has been raised to three levels with parking garages and valet to accommodate the crowds. Terrific restaurants can be found in the mall as well as up and down Southcenter Blvd., satisfying the tastes of every diner. The appearance of the new construction was really done right and navigation through the shops and down the boulevard is much easier than it once was. There are also two movie theaters now, one in the mall and the original on 180th Street. The only down side is traffic congestion may add a couple of minutes to your commute.
