"Only a handful of homes here"
Adams Street is a short little street that has several mobile homes on it and a short row of apartments south of Colfax. At the corner of Colfax and Adams Street there used to be a liquor store, but it is gone now and the windows are boarded up. As you cross Colfax going north there is an older park which has a grassy area and a playground on the eastern side of it. As Adams curves turning into Palmer Avenue there is a building for several places of businesses, but some of these, like the liquor store, have moved out.
There are several restaurants and businesses within walking distance of this street, as is the school district. Grocery shopping is just a couple of minutes away, as are gas stations and a couple fast food places.
