"A revolving door of renters"
Hancock Court is in the Centennial subdivision just a few miles north of I-70 located in Bennett. Many of the homes here were built in the late 70s to early 80s. There is a variety of price ranges here due to the economy, but in general the homes go for anywhere in the low 100s range. Due to their inexpensive price a lot of investors have homes here and just rent them out. This is the case with at least three of the homes I know of on this very short street. Compared to more modern homes, these homes are small and can be a tight fit. They would be good for a new homeowner or a small family with only one or two children. There is one park in the neighborhood, a small one at the end of this street, and the subdivision is close to the schools, within walking distance for older kids, although there is bus service available. The school district here is mediocre at best and in need of improvement.
To the south of the development, also within walking distance, is the Bennett Rec Center. There is a King Soopers close by and a new path that goes to it from the subdivision for walking or biking there during the warmer months.
The subdivision is overall not the best looking. There are homes that are well tended and look very nice, but more frequently than not a good portion of the homes are in need of repair or the grass isn't taken care of, etc.
