"Small family homes on Hancock Way"
Hancock Way is a street in the Centennial subdivision in Bennett. The homes here are all small, single family homes with small front and back yards. From those that I have been in, they all have basements. Some of the homes on this street are nicely tended and cute, while others are in desperate need of attention. One nice thing about this street is that it ends in a cul-de-sac where kids can play in the street and not have to worry about traffic, although this subdivision doesn't have much traffic anyway. This subdivision does seem to have a high amount of renters. Most of the homes were built in the very early 1980s.
There are no businesses in this subdivision except for a bank, but within walking distance are the rec center, the post office, a Family Dollar store, a Lutheran church, a chinese restaurant and an Italian restaurant. Just a couple of miles away is a grocery store, several gas stations, a liquor store, and several fast food places.
The students in this subdivision go to Bennett Public Schools which is a less than stellar school district. The schools continually score below average on state testing standards and I know of several families in this subdivision who choose to homeschool their kids because of it.
