There is nothing better to do on a rainy day on vacation than go to the mall. We found the Newport Centre Mall along Mall Dr. This was in a nice, clean part of downtown. The mall had all sorts of nice places to eat and stores to shop at.

"Entertainment for Kids"
We drive through the famous Holland Tunnel when we went into New York for a day. There is nothing more entertaining when you are a kid than driving through a tunnel. This tunnel is super long, at least that is what I remember. This tunnel links the two states together. This place can get pretty busy to at the right time of day.

"Busy Highway during rush hour"
We came into the city on Interstate 78. This is a very busy freeway as it is one of the only ways into the city. This highway wraps all through out the city. I would try to avoid this highway during rush hours as it is very busy with commuters. We got stuck in I78 traffic when we arrived into town.

This is a busy highway during the day. There is so many cute places you can find off of Route 440! Hackensack Riverfront is a very cute town that is older and has been renovated. The housing is very nice and clean. You can also find the Hudson Mall. There seems to be lots to do along certain parts of Route 440.

"Street with condos and apartments"
My friend had a very large family, so when we vacationed to Jersey City, the Jack's other part of their family would stay in different condos along York St. This road was filled of people who were staying just so they could vacation! The street was very clean, but not much in terms of places to eat or things to do along it.

I vacationed her about 15 years ago with a friend I lived next door to. Their family had a vacation house that they stayed at every summer in Jersey City. Their house was off of Morris St. This was a very cute, family friendly street. Most houses looked the same and we had a path that lead to a public beach. Very family friendly in the summertime.

I'm trying to think of the best way to describe the paradox that is W Wisconsin Avenue. All different people from all different walks of life, different ethnic food shops, banks, churches, etc. Planned Parenthood isn't too far from a local church on this road, and you always see a few stray picketers outside of PP. Never any commotion, just quiet protest. Further down, there are a couple of different fast food restaurants to chose from, and hotels such as the Holiday Inn.

Last year my husband and I went to the Indy 500. This road was one of the craziest streets I have ever seen. Of course I only saw this road while it was the weekend of the race. There were thousands walking down the streets, eating, parking and getting ready for the race. Very exciting while a race is going on.

"A great town for a Family"
My husband is from Centerville, Ohio. When we got married three years ago, we decided that we would move to Centerville, Ohio where he is from. Eventually someday, we hope to start a family and my husband did not want our kids to go to any other school district around. Centerville has an excellent education program and a high successful rate. The community is wonderful - lots of newer homes. The city is growing rapidly ever year. More new businesses & shops come into our city and draw crowds. We have many different wonderful restaurants to eat at. Centerville has a neat downtown street that is full of community pride and joy. The fourth of July will be the next big event there. 30 years ago the downtown Centerville fourth of July celebrations hosted about 3,000 locals. Today there are more than 75,000 people that will attend all of the festivities and celebration. I highly recommend to live in this community
