43rd Ave
"Quiet street, not much about 43rd Avenue."
43rd Avenue is much like the other Avenues in the Sunset District; a quiet neighborhood and street. As you go down this street you will pass by big streets such as Clement, Geary, Fulton, Lincoln, Judah, Taraval, and Noriega. 43rd Avenue on the Richmond District side ends at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center. On the Sunset District side, 43rd Avenue ends at the San Francisco Zoo. Although there are no buses that run on 43rd Avenue, there are however many places for transportation on the big streets that 43rd Avenue intersect. On this Avenue, you will pass by a few corner stores, a gas station or two, and Francis Scott Key Elementary School. 43rd Avenue is an ideal place to live on for those who seek a quiet place, but for those that like a more active street, 43rd Avenue should be one place to turn away from.

43rd Ave
"Sunset/Richmond street that runs through many large streets."
43th avenue isn't that great of a street to live on. It runs about 7 blocks from the beach through both the sunset and Richmond districts. Housing styles range very slightly within the neighborhoods. Apartments, houses and condos are all available. The street just isnt't that exciting, it's not especially close to anything and the houses all basically look the same with the occaisional crazy neighbor that paints their house orange. This street is a typical avenue of the Sunset/Richmond districts; the houses and neighborhood’s attitude are basically the same in whatever area you are in. This street also crosses big streets with bus lines that can take you almost anywhere, like Judah, Lincoln, Clement, California, Geary, Taraval and more. 43th avenue is a straight shot all the way down, excluding the detour to get through Golden Gate Park which you will need to get onto the Great Highway or 41st avenue to cross the park. 43th avenue also takes you down to the San Francisco Zoo.
