"Plenty of food to choose from"
A recent relocation of the office I work for has led me to get to know the city of Tustin a bit better. A street I like to frequent is First Street. If you’re in the area or also work around here it’s a great place to check out for lunch. There are a variety of places to grab a quick bite to eat. From McDonald’s to Weinerschnitzel to smaller specialty café’s like the Sandwich Box there’s plenty to choose from. A small restaurant I just tried a few days ago was John’s Place. It can be found on the corner of First St. and Prospect Ave. I haven’t been able to make it inside yet, but from the drive thru window the smell of the kitchen aromas are wonderful. The chicken Cesar salad is one of my favorites there. The dressing has a tinge of sourness that compliments the grilled chicken neatly layered on top. The chicken itself is tender and flavorful enough to make you want to try other chicken platters as well. Served with a side of warm, fresh buttered toast the Cesar salad meal makes a great lunch option. So stop in and see if John’s Place is a place for you.
