"Home to one of the best sushi restaurants in town"
The trickiest thing about Newport Avenue in Tustin is that it runs on a slant. I remember the first time driving down this street is was a bit confusing but now that I’ve recently begun working near this area I laugh at how confused I’d get. Newport Avenue businesses ranging from grocery stores to banks, spas, clothing, restaurants and specialty shops which makes it a nice street to drive down just to see what you might find. If you are ever in search for some good Japanese food in particular a great sushi bar I would recommend driving to the corner of Newport Ave. and main Street and trying out Tommy’s Sushi and Japanese Restaurant. I’ve never really had too much of a problem with excessive traffic when driving down here so there’s no need to worry about that. If you do find time to make it to Tommy’s I’d suggest trying their Paradise Roll, the exclusive Chuck Norris Roll and the very interesting and very tasty jalapeno Roll. The sauces they make to accompany the sushi are to die for. If you can’t make it out to Tustin for anything else other than some good Japanese food, you won’t be disappointed with Tommy’s.
