Hempstead Rd
"Small street, hardly worth visiting."
Hempstead road is a small street that is near the University of Utah campus. There is really nothing to be seen hear unless you have interest in Salt Lakes Army/military history. There are many old brick homes that line the road. These homes were once, and may still be used to house Army personel. The arcitecture of these homes is so unique, that you will not see any homes like this any other place in Salt Lake.

Hempstead Rd
"University or Army Camp?"
This road also referred to as South Campus Drive looks at some places like a Univeristy and at others like an Army Camp. With Fort Douglas so close the Dormitories the late sleeping students are sure to be awaken by the army drills that sound something like this "I don't know but I've been told." You can see a few tanks and sometimes men outside training in military fatigues. The most common site however are college students and university shuttles. It is an interesting mingling of two groups of people. As you get closer to the campus the military presence seems to disappear.
