"Affordable renting neighborhood"
Chippewa Ave. was another location I lived at for a few years. One of the best features at the time we began renting was the affordability of the town homes. The street is fairly secluded from high traffic but major streets and freeways are not to far away, which was nice. Chippewa stretches from Crescent Ave. to Dogwood Ave. which is a very short distance. Most of the residential living is apartment complexes so if you’re interested in finding a place to rent here be aware that the parking situation isn’t all that great. There were times where I had to park a block away from my house. You will almost always be parallel parking and squeezing into any spot you find available because it tends to get crowded in the evenings and weekends. The safety of the area was getting rather questionable towards the end of our stay in this neighborhood and the pet friendliness of the apartments was also going down, which was a major reason why we relocated. If your curious to check out the neighborhood for yourself, I would recommend driving around a bit later in the evenings or weekend nights to see if the conditions are favorable to your expectations.
