North Redondo Dr West, Northwest Anaheim

I have an old time friend who grew up in this neighborhood and her parents and younger siblings still live her so there’s times I still make it down tthrough Redondo Drive. Immediately the first thing that comes to mind when describing this Orange County neighborhood is quiet. There has never been trouble or outrageous traffic that I’ve seen in the area and the neighbors generally tend to keep to themselves which isn’t always a bad thing. The reason why I feel this is a great area for families with children is that there are two elementary schools nearby on the corner of North St. and Loara St., as well as on the following corner of Westmont Dr. and Loara St. There is a park right behind some of the homes on Redondo which is rather small but generally ok to visit during the day. If you have older children Anaheim High School is also only a few blocks away and well within walking distance. Other amenities in the surrounding area are the Anaheim Plaza, the Anaheim Memorial Medical Center and easy access to freeways like the 5 and the 91 freeways. Overall I’d say it seems like a decent place to relocate to and raise a family.
