"Worth checking out while house hunting"
The area of Orange Ave. that I am familiar with the most begins at the intersection of Euclid St. down to Brookhurst St. although the street stretches through Anaheim, Buena Park and Cypress. I used to travel down this street often when I lived off Brookhurst St. and even looked into buying home in this neighborhood a few years back. We took notice of what the surrounding neighborhoods in the area were like and over all it always seemed peaceful here. There seemed to be no trouble with the parking situation since many of the homes have driveways and garages. The streets were clean, yards well taken care of etc. If your ever in the area and in the mood for great Italian food there is a wonderful restaurant on the corner of Orange Ave. and Brookhurst St. with a reputation that sometimes proceeds itself with the local residents named Cortina’s. I have yet to try a bad meal here so if you love Italian food pick anything and you won’t be disappointed. You can also visit the Italian Market they own and get fresh baked deserts, breads, meats, cheeses and wines to take home. A few minor con’s however about the neighborhoods found on this side of Orange Ave. are that they do not have very good frwy access. You have to drive a few blocks on heavy traffic streets like Brookhurst St. or Euclid St. just to get to the 5frwy. Schools aren’t too close either so if transportation arrangements are something you and your family have to consider when it comes to getting to work and school, just keep this in mind when house hunting on Orange Ave.
