"Close to parks, schools & community centers"
Depending on which perspective you choose to embrace, living on a street where there is a park, community center, elementary, junior high and high school in less than a one block radius, life on Greenacre Ave. could be great or not so great.
Greenacre Ave. is a fairly short street, lined with apartments, primarily fourplexes. On any given day you will see children walking to and from school or the parks recreational areas. On weekends, especially on warm days with perfect weather you will see families and kids all over the neighborhood. On active days such as these or even arriving to late from work during the evening hours can make for a difficult time in finding street parking so be prepared for that.
In the immediate area surrounding Greenacre Ave. drivers can find gas stations, fast food locations, grocery stores and onramps to the 5 frwy and the 91 frwy. While living on this street I definitely had a love/hate relationship with the accessibility of so many amenities because it invariably led to a lot of foot traffic and commuter traffic. If you like neighborhoods where there’s never a dull moment, life on Greenacre Ave might just be for you.
