"Stanyan"
Stanyan Street runs north to south from Geary Blvd to Belgrave Ave. There are some bicycle shops close to Haight street near Frederick. There is the Kezar Bar across the Golden Gate Park. There is also Hotels, Whole Foods and couple of smaller shops. There is some traffic from Geary to Parnassus but it is less congested up the hill towards 17th. Great shortcut to get to Castro and Noe Valley.

Stanyan St
"A street with variety"
Stanyan Street is a pretty long street, it begins at Geary Boulevard and ends at 17th street, 18-20 blocks. What stands out the most about this street is that is borders many playgrounds and parks. It borders the Interior Park, Golden Gate Park, which is one of the largest parks in San Francisco, and Ross Playground. There are a variety of attractions here, not only do the parks attract people and families to go out, but there are many stores here too. There is also housing, but most of them are apartments. Traffic around here is alright, many cars do pass by here because of the many of the parks are located here.

Stanyan St
"Always filled with cars day and night"
Stanyan street is a great place to come and visit. Usually busy during the afternoon; Stanyan street has a great Mexican restaurant at a very affordable price. Along with the restaurant, are wine shops, gas stations, and a gym. A lot of people do not walk on the streets but if your driving, this street takes you directly to Golden Gate Park. I think of Stanyan street as another urban street because of no housing and a lot of businesses. If your searching for a house, I don’t prefer coming here. But if you want to work out or just stop for some gas, this is the right place.

"something for everyone"
Variety is what makes this street a great one to live on. there is a park for sports, shops for anyone who likes to do a little bit every now and then, and a few shops where you can grab a bite to eat for a relatively low price. Amazing street.

Stanyan St
"Charming Street with History"
Stanyan is home to Kezar Stadium, a place where many local sports events are held. Across the street, a salon, bike shop, bar and coffee shop make it place that is not so sports-oriented. Drive a bit up the hill and health-food stores and flower shops make it even more charming. Stanyan is also a gateway into Golden Gate Park, so many cyclists, runners and walkers are seen traveling up and down this popular street.
