"Quiet, but barren for a Seattle residential street"
While it's not fair to guage the appeal of a street based on a current construction project that has the road closed to all but through-traffic, the cross streets don't offer a very convenient or practical alternate route. Unfortunately for the residents, this is a fairly common thoroughfare between Tukwila International Blvd. and Hwy. 599, so residents not only have to deal with the noise and inconvenience of the construction project, they also share the road with commuting traffic. That aside, the neighborhood is usually fairly quiet, though the lack of greenery stands out in a city where tree-lined streets are in abundance. The homes are moderate single-family structures and the housing costs are on the low end, especially with the recent decrease in house prices. Not too many are for sale or foreclosure, which is a nice change in the area.
