"Not the greatest neighborhood"
Military Rd. is actually broken up by Highway 99, but on either side of the highway, it's not that great. The houses are mostly older and not very well kept up. The neighborhoods are questionable as far as safety is concerned. It's a main arterial, so it's not anywhere you really want your kids riding their bikes. The one good thing it's got going for it is the amount of greenery and color. The entire road is lined with evergreens, drooping conifers, deciduous trees and all types of shrubs and bushes. Some people have taken pride in their homes and planted some beautiful flowers that add burst of color here and there. It's a pretty good road as far as a lack of stop lights and stop signs when looking to go from point A to point B, but not really a great place to raise a family.

"Not So Hip Street"
I lived on Military Road South during my first year in college. The neighborhood is somewhat disputable. The houses are pretty cheap and more affordable than a lot of areas in Seattle. A lot of college students find housing within this area. Military Road South is pretty busy as far as traffic goes. That is a drag. It seemed sometimes that it took forever to pull out of my driveway. The road itself is in decent condition but the neighborhood has a sort of washed out look. It is close to the Seattle-Tacoma International airport. That was the only positive thing because there were lot's of fast food restaurants and stuff nearby.
